Become a Merit Badge Counselor!
Merit badge counselors are adults 18 and older that help scouts earn their merit badges throughout their scouting career.
To get started, fill out the merit badge counselor Information form No. 34405 and attach the BSA Adult Application indicating position 42 with the signed Disclosure Form. Submit all forms to the Northern Star Council office (location below) with a copy of your current Youth Protection training certificate. There is no charge to register as a merit badge counselor.
