In 1996, the Knights of Columbus, St. Croix Chapter 1762, chartered a new Scouting America Troop, #148, in Hudson, Wisconsin. This troop was organized to provide another alternative to the larger troops already established in Hudson.
Meetings
Troop meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at St. Patrick's Church. Patrol leader meetings are held the 1st Monday of the month from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Leadership
The Troop Committee is the governing body of the troop. Here, registered adult members and troop parents meet to determine the planning needs for the scout-planned activities.
The scout's voice to the Troop Committee is the Scoutmaster, Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader.
Led by the Scoutmaster, adult leaders help the scouts learn the basic scout skills through the Methods of Scouting.
