Merit Badges
The way it works
The scout (with their parent to follow our youth protection guidelines) contacts the scout master to get a "virtual" blue card. Meaning the scout master approves your starting a merit badge.
You print your blue card merit badge application on both sides of the paper and you get three blue cards total.
Then, the scout contacts the merit badge counselor (with their parent to follow our youth protection guidelines) and sets up an on-line conference to discuss the merit badge requirements.
Note: The requirements do not change with virtual meetings. If the requirement is to "show" then you must show etc. Showing your tracking or board you have prepared etc. are all still requirements in a virtual world.
Let's have some fun and learn some new things!
Happy Scouting!
These merit badges have had small changes in 2021.
