YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING

All adults who wish to participate with their scouts on activities need to be registered and complete the online youth protection training.  As we plan events we do check to make sure that all adults attending have completed YPT.  Click HERE for Youth Protection Training  Note: You have to be registered to take the training.

The adult registration fee is only the national portion of the dues but ....  If you sign up as a merit badge counselor the adult registration fee is waived!  Here is a list of merit badges and the current counselors. We can have more than one counselor on all badges: LINK More information about being a merit badge counselor: LINK

CONDUCT, DISCIPLINE & TECHNOLOGY

To provide guidelines on good scout behavior, our troop has a Conduct, Discipline and Technology Policy which we require all families to read and sign before attending a Troop Event: LINK

DUES AND RECHARTERING

Every November the council requires the troop to recharter. This includes updating the troop roster as well as paying scout dues.  There are two parts to the scout dues payments, Troop Dues and Council Dues.  The troop collects dues once a year in November. For details of the dues payments and breakdown between council and troop dues CLICK HERE.

FUNDRAISING

The troop has two major fundraising events per year. Christmas Wreath Sales in the Fall and Coupon Card sales in the spring.  Watch the upcoming events page for these opportunities.

CAMPERSHIPS

Even with all of the fundraising opportunities, there are circumstances when families need a little extra support. The council provides needs-based camperships to help scouts attend camp. Click here to apply for a campership.

ACTIVITY SIGN-UP

The troop has lots of opportunities for the scouts. To sign-up for activities go the home page of the web site and in the middle, you will see the upcoming events linked. Select an activity and look for the sign-up link, click on it and add you're and/or your scout's name! It's that easy!

Note: Many of the events the troop attends after registration are not refundable. If you have signed up for an event but cannot attend, the troop will help attempt to fill your spot, if it can not be filled, unfortunately, we cannot receive a refund, hence cannot provide one.

SUMMER TROOP CAMP
