John Henry Bryner, 91, Humbird, died Saturday, February 12, 1983, at the Black River Memorial Hospital.
He was born at Delavan, Wis. June 10, 1891 to John and Kathryn Rhyner Bryner, Sr and married Louisa Della Garber at Humbird November 27, 1913. He grew up in the Humbird area and farmed there until 1943 when he became employed by the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad.
He is survived by one son, Alvin, of Silver Lake, Wis.; two granddaughters, Mrs. Diane Hayden of Merrillan, and Mrs Donna Hanson, of Janesville; and one grandson Alan Bryner of Silver Lake; five great-grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; and three sisters, Mae Hahn of Humbird, Chloy Rieder of Rockford, Ill.; and Emma Keeler of Beloit. His wife, one great grandson and three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held February 15 from the Jensen Funeral Home in Hixton with the Rev. Al Houts officiating. Burial was in the Mentor Cemetery near Humbird.
