Mrs. Elizabeth Baebler
MONTICELLO - Mrs. Elizabeth Baebler, 74, died Tuesday evening at her farm home in Mount Pleasant Township three miles east of Monticello after a long illness. Mrs. Baebler, born May 24, 1884, at Monticello, attended schools in Humbird, Wisconsin. After her marriage to Vinzenz Babler, Dec. 26, 1901, at Humbird, they lived on a farm. Mr. Baebler died in 1956.
Surviving are four sons, John V. of Albany, Fred C. of Janesville, Herman H. of Redwood City, Calif., Alvin W., Monticello; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey Hahn, Arlington, Mrs. Charies G. Pickett, Monroe; one brother, John Bryner, Humbird; five sisters, Mrs. Harry Hart, Humbird, Mrs. Ernest Rieder, Rockford, Mrs. Emma Keeler, Beloit, Mrs. Albert Hahn, Chicago, Mrs. William Spring, Monticello; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m, Friday in the Zwingli United Church of Christ, Monticello, the Rev. James R, Achtemeier officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at Voegeli Funeral Home, Monticello, after 1 p.m. Thursday.
