Project Description
The Virtual Watershed was my senior project at the University of Nevada - Reno. It is a virtual environment that is made using the Unity 3D Game Engine to simulate a watershed. The environment is generated by reading scientific data collected by environmental scientists through the Geospatial Data Abstraction Library (GDAL). My main role involved acting as a leader to ensure solid communication between team members and making sure we met every deadline. I wrote the software requirements and design documents and did all GUI implementation while supporting team members with any problems they would have. The project was split carefully so that we each contributed an equal amount, but on different subsystems to avoid any conflicting code. This allowed us to complete our project early with minimal problems and earn a grade of A from our instructor.
