Students entering Broughton High School as freshmen for the 2025-2026 school year will be able to apply to the Academy of Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Marketing via our online application form from February 4, 2025 to May 1, 2025.
This application requires acknowledgment of program policies and procedures, applicant and parent/guardian information, contact information for two teacher recommendations, and a 2-3 paragraph personal statement.
Please complete the application only after reading and understanding the information available on the academy website regarding the program’s policies, goals, and structure and being prepared to fully commit to participating in the four year academy program.
The application should be completed by the student but a parent/guardian should review it for accuracy as both parties will be asked for an electronic signature at the end of the application.
We have a limited number of openings in our academy each year. Applicants who submit a complete application by May 1 at 11:59 PM will be placed into a lottery (if necessary) and notified regarding acceptance via e-mail by late May. Students applying after the May 1 deadline will be placed on a wait list.
Note that applications to Broughton High School's Career Academy will only be processed if the applicant is assigned to Broughton High School for the 2025-2026 school year through either base or the magnet process.
