Students entering Broughton High School as freshmen for the 2024-2025 school year will be able to apply to the Academy of Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Marketing via our online application form from January 16, 2024 to May 1, 2024. This application requires acknowledgment of program policies and procedures, applicant and parent/guardian information, contact information for two teacher recommendations, and a 2-3 paragraph personal statement. The application should be completed by the student, but a parent/guardian should review it for accuracy as both parties will be asked for an electronic signature before the application is submitted. Please note that applications from students to attend the Broughton High School Career Academy will only be processed if the student is assigned to Broughton High School for the 2024-2025 school year.
Please complete the application only after reading and understanding the information available on the academy website regarding the program’s policies, goals, and structure and being prepared to fully commit to participating in the four year academy program.
Please be reminded that we have a limited number of openings in our academy each year. Applicants who submit a complete application by May 1 will be placed into a lottery (if necessary) and will be notified regarding acceptance via e-mail by late May; depending on the number of remaining openings, students applying after the May 1 deadline may be placed on a wait list.
