Beginning Band's First Concert

Blanchard Beginning Band's First Concert will take place THURSDAY, JANUARY 30th 2020 at 7pm.

There will be a reception immediately after the concert in the cafeteria.

It is very important that students arrive at 6:30pm. This gives the students time to get themselves and their instruments ready for the performance. We will meet in the music room.

Concert attire: Students should wear a white shirt with a collar, solid black pants or skirt and dark shoes for this performance. Ties will be provided by the BBPO. All students should be dressed for the concert when they arrive at 6:30 pm.

Volunteers Needed:

• We need assistance with setting up chairs and music stands in the gym on Thursday afternoon at 3:30pm. The more volunteers we have, the faster we can get it done!
• We will need 4 parent on the night of the concert to assist in the music room before the concert starts.
• Reception supply list:
  • volunteers to set up at 6:30 pm (2)
  • volunteers to clean up after the reception (3)
  • baked goods (cookies, brownies, etc.) (14) Nut free. please send ingredients list with your baked goods
  • plates of cut up fruit/grapes (4)
  • water (big bottles) (6)
  • juice (big bottles) (6)
  • napkins (3 pkg's of 24)
  • paper cups (such as 9oz. Dixie in pkg's of 50) (about 200 total, so 4 people)
