Scholastic Book Fair
The book fair is the signature fundraising event for the BBPO and is typically held in November in the weeks prior to Thanksgiving break. The Science Lab at the Blanchard Memorial School is transformed into a book store filled with hardcover and softcover books for pre-K through 8th grade readers. The store also stocks some reference books and cookbooks for adults as well as fun posters and educational kits for budding scientists and artists alike. Our sales goal for the book fair is 1,500 books – that means 240,000 minutes of reading by our elementary school children -- and $1,800 for the BBPO scholarship fund. Join us for this wonderful community event.
Business Sponsors
We are grateful to the local businesses and business owners who provide financial sponsorship for the Blanchard Memorial Elementary Band Program. It is because of their support that we are able to provide Blanchard students with rewarding experiences that music education provides.
Business sponsors buy advertising space in band concert programs. Sponsor levels are reflected in the space provided to each sponsor in the three printed concert programs presented each school year.

Donations of any amount are appreciated and can be sent to the current Treasurer c/o Blanchard Memorial School, 493 Massachusetts Avenue, Boxborough, MA 01719. The Blanchard Band Parents Organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations to the BBPO are tax-deductible.
