Bohicket Landing is a deed restricted, small subdivision near Swansboro, North Carolina. The neighborhood is part of a planned coastal community with direct access to Queens Creek and Burnette's Branch tributaries. There are only 45 lots in the subdivision, making this the perfect neighborhood for families with children and empty-nesters.
Currently, there are 42 completed homes and 3 developed, but uncleared lots and one common lot for the community boat ramp. Expansion of the subdivision is unlikely given our proximity to the coastal waters and because annexation beyond the 45 lots currently part of Bohicket Landing sections I, III, IV, and V requires approval of the homeowners.
Homes within Bohicket Landing Sections I, III, IV, and V range from 2100 - 3600 square feet and are on cul-de-sacs streets with relatively large lots ranging from 0.6 - 3.9 acres. There are currently a few homes or lots for sale or rent within the subdivision.
The community boat ramp is for the exclusive use of the subdivision's property owners and tenants. This provides immediate boat access to Queens Creek, White Oak River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the nearby Crystal Coast beaches & islands. This is the perfect amenity for residents who enjoy the lifestyle and outdoor recreational activities associated with the coastal region of the southeastern United States.
The property owners and residents of Bohicket Landing are predominately active duty military members, military retirees, or veterans, which can be attributed to the community's close proximity to MCB Camp Lejeune and other surrounding military bases.
