The Bohicket Landing Homeowners Association (HOA) was incorporated by the subdivision developer in 2005. The property owners entered into a settlement agreement with the developer in 2012, in which the developer legally and expressly relinquished all “rights and control over Bohicket Landing Homeowners Association" to the property owners.
Each owner of a home or lot is a member of the Bohicket Landing HOA. The Bohicket Landing HOA is a non-profit organization that ensures that the collective rights and interests of the owners are respected and preserved. The association also maintains common areas for residents, protects property values, and meets the established expectations of homeowners.
The Bohicket Landing HOA is managed by a Board of Directors that is made up of residential owners who are elected by the association's members and who volunteer their time and energy to preserve the integrity and appearance of the neighborhood as specified in the community’s governing documents. The board’s primary responsibilities are;
(1) Provide for the association’s financial management & neighborhood planning,
(2) Supervise the maintenance and repair of association common areas & property,
(3) Provide for architectural change, improvements, and guidance,
(4) Enforce the requirements of the Declaration of Restrictive and Protective Covenants and other association rules.
