Mission Statement

As a community of committed and respectful gardeners, we strive to:

• Grow vegetables and small fruits organically with the least amount of waste
• Provide food for ourselves as well as those in need
• Maintain individual plots in a manner that promotes the health and sustainability of Bock Community Garden
• Practice good gardening methods, techniques and behaviors that sustain the common grounds, surrounding neighborhood and the Pheasant Branch Conservancy
• Work cooperatively with the Bock Forest restoration project
• Treat the garden’s diverse gardeners and visitors with respect
