Check the booking calendar for availability. This is updated as often as possible. Please see below for the availability key.
Contact the Campsite Manager via email (selbywood@blythvalleyscouts.org.uk) to confirm the site is available on your chosen dates. This is to ensure the calendar has been fully updated.
Once the availability of the site is confirmed, please complete the booking form Booking Form and email it to selbywood@blythvalleyscouts.org.uk.
Scout Booking Form | Non Scout Booking Form
Before the booking can be confirmed we must have received a £20.00 non-returnable deposit and the payment for building hire (if required). Please see our booking terms and conditions for more information.
When the deposit (and building payment if required) has been received you will receive a booking confirmation via email.
Normally we only allow one Group to book the campsite at a time but depending on numbers and with the agreement of the first group, a second group may be allowed to book during the same period.
The camping fees for 2024 are:
£4.00 per person per night
£2.00 per person for day visits
£35.00 per day for the building
The Calendar to the right hand side shows existing bookings we currently have, to allow you to see which weekends are available.
Key for calendar
Booked – a group has booked the campsite; however they may not have booked the full site. Another group may be able to share depending on group sizes and required facilities. To book the full site for your group we need a minimum of forty campers. It will state on the calendar if they have booked the building.
No share – a non-Scouting group which may have a different DBS system. If you are a D of E group wanting these dates, please contact the Campsite Manager as a booking may be possible depending on your group size and the times you are on site. A separate camping area may also be available.
Fully booked – a group has booked the entire campsite. Again, if you are a D of E group wanting these dates, please contact the Campsite Manager as a booking may be possible depending on your group size and the times you are on site. A separate camping area may also be available.
D of E – a group has booked for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. These are usually small groups who arrive in the late afternoon / evening and leave in the morning, often only using a couple of the camping bays. It is usual for other groups to use the rest of the site on the same dates.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Campsite Manager at selbywood@blythvalleyscouts.org.uk
