CLASS RULES - Just remember that choir is a privilege.
Dismissal from the program will be considered these behaviors occur:
Lack of respect for oneself, the teacher, other students, and our choir room.
The inability to maintain a 2.0 GPA with no more than one F
Excessive absences to class and concerts or extra rehearsals.
WHAT I EXPECT WHEN STUDENTS ENTER THE CHOIR ROOM
l. Enter the classroom with the intention of creating music, not noise.
2. Always have your music when you get to your seat and a pencil for making notes on the music.
3. Have a positive attitude about all things and towards others around you. Leave your baggage outside!
4. Follow Instructions.
5. Always put forth 100% effort.
6. Spit out your gum…. unless you want to do a solo.
7. Enjoy the time inside G-125. We are your choir family ☺

GRADES – PARTICIPATION AND TRAVELING
In order to travel to festivals during the school day, students must keep a 2.0 GPA and have no more than one “F” on the last grade cycle. Mrs. Anaya will be checking progress reports and quarter/semester grades to ensure that each student is eligible to travel. Keep your grades up! For auditioned choirs – At semester, if students are not eligible to travel, they will be asked and required to move to a non-auditioned choir. Keep your grades up!
