PROGRAM DONATION - Please turn in by the end of August. Place in the black box in the choir room. Checks made to CVHS Music Boosters. There is a form under documents to go in an envelope with payment.
TIER 1 Donation - $60 - asking for this donation from everyone - it helps cover:
alteration costs of outfits for the year
dry cleaning costs for the year
new uniform costs
booster admin costs ($2500 for the year)
TIER 2 Donation - $100+ for anyone that can give more - these donors will receive a CHOIR VIP card for 2 people - VIP card gets you into choir concerts for free (fall and 2 spring only). This donation helps cover:
festival registration
solo/ensemble/competition registration
extra accompaniment costs
extra equipment and director costs
All other costs that come up throughout the year will be for optional trips that your student can take to see Broadway shows at Performance Riverside and the Pantages Theater. Remember the asking donation cost goes to cover so many opportunities for your student and is a TAX WRITE OFF!
There is no fee to participate in the CVHS Choir Program. All donations and fundraising participation is optional. In order to cover the various cost incurred by our Program, the CVHS Music Boosters asks every family for a donation to pay for purchase, cleaning, and alterations of dresses/tuxes, purchasing of music, website, accountant, insurance etc. Your donation ensures that every child has a positive experience regardless of their financial situation. Please turn in your donation by the end of August (but really we won't turn a donation down anytime of the year!)
Other costs that need to be taken care of by the family outside of the above listed:
Classical choir extras (shoes and nylons)
Show Choir extras (shoes, bloomers, tights)
Optional trips to see broadway shows throughout the year.
Instructions for classical wear:
Long black dress (provided by the boosters) – looking clean and unwrinkled
Black close-toed DRESS shoes. All must purchase flats from Payless Shoes.
American Eagle – Women’s Bayley Twist Flat - Black
American Eagle - Women's Lace Fauna Ballet Flat - Black
Skin colored panty hose
No jewelry of any sort
No nail polish – except clear or French tip
Hair done in an up fashion, not down on ones shoulders or in ones face.
Show Choir: We will order from TurnedOut Dance in class - DO NOT get these on your own.
Shoes – Theatricals Adult 2” Heel Character Shoe T-strap in Tan
Tights – Capezio Adult soft footed in your skin color – provided by student
Blommers – Capezio Medium Cut Brief in black color – provided by student
Red Lipstick – provided by student
Hair - curled - up in a pony tail
