The Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra is conducted by Carl St Clair and features Eri Nakagawa, piano. “To write a symphony is to create a whole world.” These are the words Mahler used to describe what he did best: composing symphonies of epic scale. Opening the program, Mozart’s delightful Piano Concerto No. 21 shines under the artistry of our own esteemed Eri Nakagawa.

Timeless Resonance
Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University Salaya -- 1400, 900, 700 Baht
The Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra is conducted by Carl St Clair and features Ekachai Jearakul, guitar. Brahms’s symphonies stand at a turning point in orchestral history. Brahms composed with deep respect for the Classical traditions of Beethoven and Mozart, yet with ambitious determination to reach beyond those boundaries toward the sweeping Romantic symphonies to come. In the same spirit, Prangcharoen’s Guitar Concerto, performed by virtuoso guitarist Ekachai Jearakul, gazes past the “invisible curve” of the horizon toward a future we cannot yet see.
