BHNA hosts a neighborhood block party, usually held on National Night Out, where neighbors gather to share a meal, listen to music, and get to know one another.
This year's block party will be August 4, 5:30-7:30, Bigelow Park, 1220 Bigelow Avenue Northeast
The neighborhood association will supply burgers (beef and vegetarian), hot dogs, and all the fixins. Neighbors are invited to bring side dishes or desserts to share. There will be face painting for the little ones.
And it's a great time to pay your $10 per family dues.
We know times are hard so dues and potluck dishes are appreciated and optional. It's more important to gather and get to know each other.
