Steven Torrisi

Steven Torrisi is a Physics major from Red Hook, NY. He is a Renaissance and Global scholar and an Alan and Jane Handler scholar at the University of Rochester, as well as a recipient of a Research and Innovation Grant. He has worked in the past at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, UR's Laboratory for Laser Energetics, and the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics. Steven is working on laser pulse manipulation via rf control of acousto-optics for quantum information in BECs.
