Ananya is from Chatham, New Jersey and is a double major in Physics and Math. She is a recipient of the University of Rochester's Wilder Trustee Scholarship and Research and Innovation Grant. She spent a summer at NIST in Gretchen Campbell's BEC lab. Ananya is working on external-cavity diode lasers for use in manipulating ultracold molecules
