Genesis 33

v1-3 suggests that Jacob is still far from perfect. He still harbors un-Godly favoritism.

Jacob was anticipating a battle with Esau, maybe because Esau was coming over with 400 men (Genesis 32:6) and the last time Jacob was around Esau, Esau wanted to kill him (Genesis 27:41).

I wonder Esau came with some many men, because he, likewise, thought that Jacob is coming over with so many people to fight him?
