Local Lumpkin Activist Emily Lewy has raised the topic of 'We need a tree ordinance in Lumpkin County' at the Lumpkin County Home Owners Association Meetings and at Lumpkin County Commissioners meetings. Lumpkin County Homeowners Association President Emily Lewy has also made a cause of trying to get a Tree Ordinance in Lumpkin county. Emily uses her newsletter and web site to communicate with Lumpkin
County residents about important local issues.
