BISE Excursion Policies and Procedures...
(BISE Excursions cancelled until further Notice)
#1. The Symposium may arrange an 'Excursion Day', as part of the Symposium events. Participants & guests have options (listed below) of choosing to spend this time going on a different excursion. Additional excursion choices outside of the Symposium scheduled events may be arranged alone or through each hotel concierge. HOWEVER, choosing other Excursion options will be at the Participant's own expense!
#2. There will be No Refunds for any participant or guest that may choose NOT to attend the Symposium 'Excursion Day' scheduled event.
#3. All participants MUST sign an 'Agreement Form' & sign-up at 'Registration' to attend any BISE scheduled excursion event!
Please Take Note. . .
All participants attending the Symposium events must be an Adult or University age level Student (e.g. Eighteen [18] years of age or older). The Symposium [IS NOT] responsible for children or minors that try to attend or participant within the Symposium events!

Excursion Options:
1. 'Tourist Village' - Located behind, 'Radisson Hotel', from the water side; offers Excellent Shopping & Good eating Restaurants (Passports are Needed for admission during operation with cruise-lines and there is NO entry FEE!)
2. 'Street Vendor Market' - Located by 'Tourist Village'; around the corner from Radisson Hotel - Authentic Belizean wares & trading
3. 'MIRAB' Shopping Store - Excellent shopping Mall located in Belize City (Taxi Services needed from Hotels)
4. 'Golden Bay' - 15 minute walk from Radisson or Ramada Hotel facing the Sea, next to Celebrity Restaurant. Excellent Shopping!
5. 'Water Taxi' to Islands (45 min to 1- hour boat ride to Caye Caulker & San Pedro Islands - swimming, snorkeling, kyaking and other activities (Fees apply, purchasing tickets and boarding located next to 'Tourist Village Area' behind Radisson Hotel)
6. 'Belize Museum' behind 'Celebrity' Restaurant; down the Seaside lane from Ramada Hotel & Radisson Hotel (Small entrance FEE)
7. 'Audubon Society' - 5 min. walking distance from the Park by the 'Radisson Hotel' (Free Admittance)
8. 'Blue Hole' - Transportation can be arranged thru hotels (Fees will apply)
9. 'Mayan Temples' - Excursion & Transportation can be arranged thru hotels (Fees will apply)
10. 'Cave Tubing' & 'Wind Surfing' - Transportation can be arranged thru hotels (Fees will appy)
11. 'Horse-back riding' - Transportation can be arranged thru hotel concierge (Fees will apply)
12. 'Horse/Carriage' Rides thru Belize City - Transportation can be arranged thru hotel concierge (Fees will apply)
13. 'Bus Rides' - Van converted into unique transport, may arrange thru hotel concierge for tours around the city (Fees will apply)
14. 'Train Rides' - A small 'Train' travels around the city for participants to enjoy (e.g. Calypso Train Co.) (Fees will apply)
15. 'Tropicana Casino - Across the Street from Ramada Hotel

'Celebrity Restaurant & Bar' - 5 min. taxi ride or 10 min. walk along Caribbean by Ramada & Radisson Hotel
'Smokey Mermaid' - Great House INN Restaurant - 1st Floor
'Birds Isle View' - Famous Restaurant from Actor: 'Harrison Ford', resulted from Movie in Belize (1980's) - 'Mosquito Coast'
'Hour Glass, Bar & Grille' - 10 min. taxi ride along coastal line, close to Ramada Hotel
'Midtown Bar & Restaurant' - 5-min. walk from the Ramada Hotel
'Moe's Pizza & Pasta' - located next door to the Ramada Hotel. A variety of Belizean and American Cuisine; Newly opened!
'Ramada Hotel' - 5 min. taxi ride or 15 min. walk from Radisson & Chateau Hotel, along Caribbean - Offers 2 Excellent Restaurants (Calypso & Hotel SeaView Restaurant, Casino, Live shows, Coffee Shoppe, Movie Cinema, etc.
'Radisson Hotel - (4) Eating Restaurants' - St. George, Stonegrill, Baymen's Tavern, LaPetit Cafe'
'Sumathi Indian Restaurant' - Authentic Indian Restaurant - close to Ramada Hotel
