Some of you who look at the measurement of your Barrett’s segment may find the measurement varies on each occasion.
This variability most likely represents the difficulty the endoscopist has in measuring the Barrett’s precisely. For example, the measurement can differ if you take the measurements when you go into the stomach compared to when you come out. In addition it can be difficult to tell exactly where the stomach ends, and the Barrett’s begins.
Barrett’s does not go by itself and is unlikely to shrink.
