In 2015, before I went on holiday with Julia to celebrate my 50th birthday, we purchased a little teddy bear whilst on a day trip to Windsor with the premise of using him in our photography when we visited the Isle of Wight.Â
Kind of like the book "Teddy Does Isle of Wight" that we bought some years ago when we visited the island. Two ladies had gone on holiday there, both were keen photographers but didn't enjoy being in front of the lens. So they purchased an Isle of Wight teddy bear and placed him in their photographs as a point of interest.
And so Tedster was borne, our little photographic muse to pop into our photos on an purely adhoc basis.
Now I tend to be photographing alone, Tedster comes with me, tucked into the chest strap of my rucksack and draws all sorts of attention when I am out and about with my camera! To keep Tedster company when he's not gallivanting around with me I purchased Otis, another little bear, slightly bigger as it happens, but he's now Tedster's new BFF :-)
Here are some photos of the pair of them and believe it or not I'm not the only one out there with this sort of little companion ;-)

So there you have it, two little bears who keep me company sometimes when I'm out and about with my camera, Tedster even has his own Facebook page which hopefully you can see from the link below...
