In case anyone out there is wondering what I really look like (and I'm sure you're not), here are a couple of rare photos of yours truly taken by the official photographer at my daughter's wedding this year (2016).
This was taken at Aylesford Priory during the main wedding shoot and for once I REALLY like this photo of me. My step-Mum setup the original shot but the official guy jumped in also to take some shots.
Thinking I look pretty damn good for 51yrs young and scrubbed up well in my wedding outfit with hair in a french pleat (for the first time ever) and makeup by our visiting makeup lady on the day!
This is me with my trusty Canon D-SLR, taking photos of my gawgus girl getting her makeup done on her special day - the plastic bag was in preparation for the rain that kept descending on us in spite of it being an August wedding :-(
My other passions in life are reading, mainly thrillers and crime books and I can while away many an hour with my head stuck in my Kindle.
I love most creatures, great and small, and used to have a wonderful pair of Shelties who kept us company for many years until they both sadly passed away. Once I am fortunate to have retired (I have a few years still to go in case you are wondering!) then a new doggie companion will be first on my list of things to do.
I also started getting into the world of tattoos at the grand age of 42 when I had my first one done on my right arm, a tribal wolf as I love all things wolfy.
I have gone on to have several others, including a back piece, all black and grey.
See My Tattoos - Up Close & Personal for pictures of all my tattoos to date, who they were done by and where they are located.
