JAYATU SAMSKRITAM ! JAYATU MANUKULAM !! AVB WINTER BREAK from 1-DEC-2025 to 15-JAN-2026.
Update from Dakshin Vrindavan ...
Please bless our little Anasuya - For she has already seen a lot in her young life. Baby Anasuya came to us from Chettinad, Tamil Nadu which is situated far away from our location. She was born to a cow in a farm there. Owing to misfortune, the mother cow was suffering from lumpy skin disease. This is a highly infectious disease and is terribly painful to the poor infected being. Despite somehow giving birth to her baby, the mother cow couldn't tolerate further and died a week after birth. The baby was thus left alone in the world, wailing for her lost mother.
Such motherless calves are usually sold off, most likely landing in terrible hands and suffering ill fate - due to the greed of owners and a most asuric demand for calf meat (veal) among a ghoulish section of society. But who can kill when the 'Protector of Gajendra' himself decides to save! Driven by his divine will, a very kind devotee Rajaram ji purchased her to save her.
The next challenge was to bring such a young, week old calf to our gausadan covering a distance of roughly 500 Kms from Chettinad. An Omni van was somehow arranged and Anasuya travelled to our premises. Little Anasuya has since recuperated in our gausadan. She is being bottle fed with milk several times a day and round the clock attention is provided to her. She too is picking up her life under the shade of elder cows and bulls and affection of caretakers.
She is the sweetest, most affectionate baby - whose pious, little heart has only love for anyone and everyone in the world. She has been lovingly adopted by AarSha VidyA BhArati USA (by its founder-chairman, Sri. Chandrasekar Raghu). We humbly request you all to bless her for a healthy and content future.
Update from Dakshin Vrindavan... With utmost joy, we present to you our Sumedha! Like the white padma (lotus flower) of lake Mansarovar, our baby girl is an epitome of celestial grace and reverent piety. Her appearance is nothing but angelic and her benign image is most accentuated by the very pious 'tilak' mark on her forehead. With those lovely ears like the flowering kush plant and saintly, innocent eyes, we are pretty sure that she had come to us by the very grace of the lotus feet.
Little Sumedha has already seen a lot in her small life. In this age of rampant adharma when Asuric vritti has turned endemic, even such divine beings are not spared. This most blessed baby had found herself looking at the dark abyss of ill fate along with her mother. Both mother and daughter were sold off to butchers by their former owner. But who can kill when the protector of Gajendra himself desires to save! With his preraNaa, we were able to rescue them both in the nick of time.
A very merciful and devout gentleman Mr. Rajaram came forward to save these innocent gau vansh and purchased them off. He later handed them over to us. Both mother daughter duo arrived at our premises few days back and are recuperating from their horrendous ordeal. We are most happy to serve them and profusely praise the Lord and his devotee who protected them.
Calf Sumedha has been adopted by AarSha VidyA BhArati (by its founder-chairman, Sri. Chandrasekar Raghu).
