Chandrasekar Raghu (Chandra) holds a Mechanical Engineering (Honors) degree from the University of Madras, India.  He had an IT career spanning 43 years and has worked in the past for the Tatas, IBM, Unisys, Sun Microsystems, FIS, British Petroleum, etc.  After retiring from his last IT role as Vice President (Digital Transformation), he served as the Faculty Advisor and Director of Samskrit & Language Studies at the Hindu University of America.  He is continuing his lifetime passion of teaching Samskritam.   An informal student of Pujya Swamiji DayAnanda Saraswati, he enjoys yoga and meditation and has been teaching Samskritam since 1991 to students across the globe.  Chandra's ancestors, specifically Polagam Sri Rama Sastry, have been great Samskritam scholars and poets.  His father, Sri Raghunandanan, was given the title of “MeemAmsA shiromaNi” by the Madras Sanskrit College.
