Will the Institute be held in 2026?
Yes! Extensive work was started in 2025 to fully evaluate and reconfigure the AEBPLI event.
Feedback from a survey sent out to AUS/NZ library managers clearly articulated a need for a more budget friendly and accessible format. However it was also clear that the intensive nature of the in-person program, and opportunities for networking, were highly valued.
After extensive evaluation, the AEBPLI team has developed a new online program that preserves the rich culture of previous institutes while modernising delivery, accessibility, and content.
To ensure the high-value, intensive networking experience our participants expect, places are strictly capped to facilitate meaningful small-group interaction.
When will the Institute be held?
Currently the Institute is scheduled for Thursdays from 22nd October to 26th November 2026. The time will depend on your location but is designed to be as accessible as possible for participants from New Zealand across to Perth WA. Beginning at: 12pm (AEST), 9am (AWST), 2pm (NZST). The sessions are currently expected to run for approximately 3 hours, but will vary dependent on the content. There will also be required preparation work of approximately 2 hours per week.
How will the program be delivered?
The Institute will be delivered online via Zoom and Moodle.
