The websites listed below promise to help aid in teaching different types of writing, especially creative writing.  Use them with the whole class on an interactive whiteboard or have students use the sites on their own at a computer center or in a computer lab setting.  Get started....write away!  =)

Use this web 2.0 tool to turn PDFs into "flip"able eBooks. Students can create their books using a word processing software like Microsoft Office, then save the documents as PDFs.  The PDFs can then be uploaded to FlipSnack and converted into an eBook.  Super easy to use!

This is a page full of story starters in PDF format that you can print off for your emergent readers. You can fill in the story or have them fill in the story. The PDFs on this page are samples, but they are still pretty cute and useful. You can also buy the CD with the complete set of 101 story starters for $12.95.
