Professor Astrid Marie Jorde Sandsør holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oslo. Her research focuses on the economics of education, educational interventions, and educational inequality.

Current positions/affiliations:

• Vice Dean of Research at the Faculty of Education, University of Oslo (50%, January 2025-2029)

• Professor at CREATE - Centre for Research on Equality in Education and the Department of Special Needs Education, University of Oslo

• CESifo Research Network Affiliate

• Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA)

• Member of the Council, The Frisch Centre, Oslo
