Congratulations on your promotion to the position of workplace training supervisor with ASK. Your new role requires you to work as part of a team to develop a workplace learning program (see list below) based on relevant and theoretically sound learning principles.

Task Instructions - Training Program

    1. Training Program - Work in pairs to design, develop and evaluate a training program. Your program should run over a number of sessions (days, weeks, months) and be presented as a complete Training manual with plans, and support materuials so other trainers could easily access and deleiver the training pogram.
    2. Training session delivery - Working with your partner you will deliver and evaluate a 30 minute training session. You may deliver your session using either a face-to-face or online delivery approach.

Delivery formats and scheduling documents

    • Face-to-face: on-campus in week 12 or 13. Add your details to your preferred date/time on the F2F delivery schedule (Google Doc)
    • Face-to-face: off campus before the end of week 13. Video recording to be submitted at the end of week 13.
    • Online: using a web conferencing or other technology that will allow you to interact with your participants and record your session. Recording to be submitted at the end of week 13. (Note: Ensure you select an online delivery tool that has recording capability, see suggestions below).
    • Add your online session details on the Online Delivery Schedule (Google Doc). Email your peers and invite them to your training session.

Suggested online delivery tools

Note: Do not create FREE 30 day trial accounts until 2 weeks before your scheduled delivery date. This will give you 2 weeks to practice and 2 weeks for your lecturer to access and mark the recording.
