Session Plans

In your new role as a workplace learning and development consultant with ASK your first job task is to create a one (1) hour training session plan for a specific need (refer to instructions below). You will be teamed up with a colleague so you can peer review their session plan and provide constructive feedback for improvement prior to submitting your final training session plan to your supervisor for assessment.

Task Instructions - Training Session Plan

    • Select a "trainer skills" session by typing your name and ePortfolio URL next to your preferred training session (Google spreadsheet)
    • Create your training session plan (template attached below)
    • Add a Session Plan page to your ePortfolio and attach a draft copy of YOUR session plan (before Monday 19/9/2011)
    • Check the Assignment 2 Partners file to see who your partner is (link will be added to the LMS)
    • Go to your partners eportfolio and download their draft session plan
    • Evaluate your partners session plan and provide constructive feedback for improvement. (Note: use the form provided in the assignment 2 coversheet doc & submit it through the LMS)
    • Email your completed evaluation to your partner
    • Attach your partners evaluation of YOUR session plan to your ePortfolio
    • Submit your completed Staff Induction Checklist to ASK HR (see Staff Induction) before midnight Friday 23/9/2011.
