"Spell Thy Name"

The point of this project is to spell your name using only pictures you've taken yourself. (Obviously.)

On September Twentieth, I traveled off into a distant land with two of my friends and a Rebel XTi to find letters in nature.

Once the photo shoot was finished, I looked through all the photos I had taken and found the letters I needed.

I opened up each picture into Adobe PhotoShop CS2.

I cropped each picture and placed them together as shown below:

At this point I could have been finished with the project. Ah, no.

I used the Gradient Tool to make a purple-ish blue and black background.

Again, I could have stopped there. Ah, nope.

I got happy with the Blur tool and this is the final product:
