Straight Up played country rock with an unusual instrumental lineup:
Bill Lunstrum - vocals & rhythm guitar
George Walsh - Electric Bass & vocals
Arnie Reed - Keyboard & vocals
About a third of our material was original.
Straight Up was based in western Loudoun County, Virginia. Bill and George lived in Leesburg, and I lived in Purcellville.
August 1996 Demo
We rehearsed in the basement of my townhouse. All instruments were directly connected to the PA. I recorded the band on my camcorder, then later copied the audio tracks to cassette tape. The shortened versions of these songs were recorded onto a demo tape that we used to promote the band.
