We need judges! Just show up to the orientation at 9:30am and we will find a spot for you.
Hopefully you have been talking to people that can be a Judge for your event! Everyone needs to invite 6 judges. Some events need 8! If you get too many, you can double up with an experience judge.
We always need more judges to spread out at the conference.
Here is a list that shows how many judges are needed for each event.

Advisors,
You might have your students try a few different events next year. They can start on these events right now!
Business operations research, professional selling, hospitality and tourism professional selling, and financial consulting are events that can really be a fun experience for the student that wants to get more out of their DECA experience. These events are not the most common events that students participate in. Maybe you have not had students compete in these events before and you might be nervous about how to help your students. Let the students be their own guide with these. Present these as projects that they can do for class assignments. There are many marketing framework sections that you can have your students complete.
Each year DECA writes new topics for each of these events and the new topics are out now. Take a look at them. You can find them on the Prepared Event Topics page. Share the page with your students. Use the page to present the event to your students.
