Meeting Minutes

Advisor Meetings – Mandatory, all advisors need to attend each meeting!

Student leaders are invited also.

Area Conference Registration opens: October 2, 2026 at 8:00 AM

Area Advisor meeting: September 29 , 2026 At 4:00pm at Auburn HS.

Register your chapter with National DECA by November 15 at 5:00 PM  (State rules) to be included in WA DECA allocations. If your chapter is not registered by then, your students will not be able to qualify for SCDC.

Area Conference Registration closes: November 27, 2026 at 6:00 pm

Register as a proctor: Before November 27, 2026

Area Advisor meeting: December ??, 2026 at 3:00pm  at Auburn HS

Proctor site open: December 3, 2026 from 5am to 10pm

Testing at each school: December 7-11,  2026 7am-5pm (75 minute testing time)

Performance Indicators available: TBD

Roleplays/Event Situations available to create your packets: TBD

Area Advisor meeting: January 13, 2027, 4:00pm, at Washington State Fairgrounds (TBD if needed)

Area 5 Conference Judge Orientation: January 14, 2027, 9:30am, at Puyallup Fairgrounds

Area 5 Conference: January 14, 2027, 9:30am opening session, at Puyallup Fairgrounds 

Area 5 Competition: January 14, 2027, 10:00am-2:00 pm
