Post-doctorate & Research Projects
Awarded a second Humboldt Fellowship (Nov 2007 - Jan 2008) for pursuing research in Germany at the Johannes-Gutenberg Universität Mainz, Mainz, Germany, on The Status of Environmental Sustainability Amongst German Automobile Manufacturers: Strategies, Initiatives, Reporting and the Future.
Resulting research report: Response of German Car Manufacturers to the European Union Directive on Reducing CO2 Emissions from Passenger Cars. See "Books / Research Report" section.
Awarded a Humboldt Fellowship (1998-99) for pursuing research in Germany at the Johannes-Gutenberg Universität Mainz, Mainz, Germany, in the frontline area of Environmental Manufacturing as a Strategic Issue in International Markets of the Future.
Selected by the Government of India and the Japanese Government for Monbusho Scholarship (1995-97) for post-doctoral work in Japan, in the frontline area of Just In Time Approach to Manufacturing and Managing Inventories.
Also worked on multiple projects as Research Scientist 'A' (Management area) for University Grants Commission (UGC), Delhi, India (1991-99).
