Summer 2022:
Eight Summer students in 2022, six from IISER Pune, one from IISER Mohali and one from IISER Bhopal. There were three teams made. These three teams worked on three different projects titled (i) Convex Analysis and Optimisation, (ii) Properties of the Laplacian, harmonic functions and maximum Principles and (iii) Fourier Analysis and Applications.

Local co-ordinator and partial advisor for two of our fifth year students (Academic Year 2013-2014); both of them worked at TIFR-CAM, Bengaluru. Ashwin T N worked with Professor Venkateswaran Krishnan and Roshni Patil worked with Professor Prashant.
As part of Theory Project (MTH401) the student Roshni Patil learned many advanced topics in Functional Analysis and its Applications. She wrote a dissertation titled “Sobolev Spaces and Embedding Theorems". SPRING 2013.
Local co-ordinator and partial advisor for two of our fifth year students (Academic Year 2012-2013) Ashwin T N was working with Professor Kesavan at IMSc, Chennai and Gaurav Sawant was working with Professor K. T. Joseph at TIFR-CAM, Bengaluru.
As part of the Theory Project (MTH402), the student Ashwin T N, learned many tools (but not all) towards solving an open challenging problem. He wrote a dissertation on "The Faber-Krahn Theorem". The goal of his reading project was to solve an open and challenging problem. Unfortunately he could not solve the problem but could definitely build a lot of background and foundations needed for the same. FALL 2011.
