Hobbies/Interests

Music: I am an ardent lover of both new and old Hindi film music. Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Mukesh, Mohd. Rafi, Sonu Nigam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan  are my favourite singers. I regret not learning singing. I also love Indian folk-music mainly from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Lately I have become a fan of Prahalad Tipanyaji and of Sufi music.

Poetry: I like Urdu ghazals, sher-o-shayari, Hindi poems and Dohas of Tulasidas and Kabir. Nida Fazli, Kavi Pradeep, Dipti Bisht, Harivanshray Bachchan, Sahir Ludhyanvi, Gulzar are my favourite poets/shayars/lyricist. I am a big fan of old Hindi film song's lyrics. My favourite Gujarati poets are Akho, Umashankar Joshi, Narsinh Mehta. 

Arts: I used to love painting and craft and want to venture into this once again.

Photography and Theatre (Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati, Urdu).

Sports: Like to play Badminton.

Mathematics: Of course.
