Birth and christenings for the parish of Meffersdorf have been digitized for the years 1815 to 1828. These are the only parish registers that have survived the wars in this parish. They are available at Skanoteka. The parish registers have been indexed at Geneteka; however, the witnesses have not been included in the index. This index will provide the names of villagers who appear as witnesses in the parish register adding many additional names of individuals living during this time period. Because the minister provided valuable relationships in the entries, some families can be compiled from these records.
