Your Majesty N., after the High Office published certain regulatory directives for the rectification of the indiction with the most gracious permission and approval of His Imperial and Royal Majesty, the content of which stipulates that everyone should conscientiously profit from and assess all their lands located in this Duchy of Silesia, and the resulting uses, and real estate subject to taxation, according to the table likewise concluded by the High Office; thus, to ensure its dutiful observance, in the manner and form contained in the aforementioned regulations, we have conscientiously examined and investigated the aforementioned village of Giehren, and have found the following uses and real estate subject to taxation therein.

Unfortunately, only the following years have survived from the Protestant church in Bad Flinsberg / Świeradów Zdrój:
1784, 1799, 1802, 1807, 1809, 1811, 1812, 1814, 1818, 1819, 1821, 1831-1835, 1839, 1842, 1848, 1849.
Hannes Scholdan saved church records from Bad Flinsberg (births, marriages, and burials) over 30 years ago. To preserve these church records for the future, they were microfilmed in Hannes Scholdan's apartment in 1998, through the mediation of Ulrich Junker, by the FamilySearch Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA [Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.] The Flinsberg film is stored there. The original church records are now in the Silesian Museum in Görlitz in the "Scholdan" estate.
