Bringing in guest speakers to share their wisdom & experiences with campers has been a huge addition to the many camps organized throughout the years. Some past speakers have been college & high school players & coaches, collegues, and professional athletes (Matt Leinert - USC, Adrian Gonzalez - LA Dodgers, D'Mitri Young - Detroit Tigers).

Coach U has been leading and instructing Youth Sports Camps since early 2001 with local schools, YMCAs, Parks & Recreation Districts, and military bases. Teaching proper skills & techniques while instilling character development & sportsmanship traits is vital for the development as young athletes.
Together with Rio Mesa HS Athletic Director Chris Ruffinelli, Coach Unchangco has led this youth camp and over 900 campers in gaining new skills and building habits for elite players. The Ball It Up Basketball Camp has served Ventura County since its inception in 2012, Rio Mesa High School has also served as the host gym.
Even though the Ball It Up Basketball Camp no longer is hosted at Rio Mesa HS or led by Ruffinelli or Unchangco, the legacy continues with one of the Camp Directors - Coach Larry Anter under the A-Game Basketball Program.
