Served as a Teacher Specialist for Ventura Unified School District in the Educational Services Department. Responsibilities included organizing and administering Aquatics and Athletics Programs for TK-8th grade, providing enrichment and intervention program, and leading staff for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program which encompasses ASES, PEAK, 21st Century, and ASSETS After School Programs.

Lesson planning is crucial to determine student success. I will risk traditional lesson plans and lectures in order to provide students engaging, rigorous, reflective, and cutting-edge activities.
My colleagues and I worked to transform our traditional classrooms into 21st century learning environments 6 years before it was common practice for school districts to have 1:1 device ratios!
