Performed 50 puppet shows with an average audience size of 40 per show in children’s libraries across the State of Wisconsin on the topic of "Energy conservation". Part of the shows were sponsored through a grant by the Environmental Protection Agency and Madison Gas and Electric. The story is adapted to the "Wizard of OZ" story using appliances as characters.
"This was my most memorable and satisfying job ever. The smiles the show put on the faces of the children were priceless. The amount of knowledge and curiosity children gained from the show was unimaginable. They were not only interested in the story the puppets told them underlined by the scientific information but also were very curious to know how the puppets could speak, disappear and reappear. Most would wander around behind the curtains to demystify the make belief performance. They often wanted to try to be the puppeteer."
