The School of the Art Institute of Chicago Gallery 2, (May 2004). Exhibited a multimedia project on anti smoking. The exhibition was a three screen projection of two performance videos and one interactive CD-ROM on researched information about smoking in five countries. The CD-ROM also includes art games on anti-smoking.
Technology used- Director software to create the interactivity for the game. Final cut pro non-linear editing for the theatrical videos. Projectors for execution.
Immersive Environments- An installation of a 3D lung was displayed. An interactive game was designed around the effects of smoking. The Environment was designed to enter the lungs and observe various parts of the lung. If the tracker collided with the walls of the lung those walls became cancerous and fell apart. One side of the lung was the good lung of a healthy person while the other was a lung of a heavy smoker.
Technology used- YG programing for setting the 3D environment and the interactivity. Maya for the 3d modeling of Lungs. OpenGL Performer for execution of the 3D images. Head and hand tracker.
