In the classroom digital stories can be uses to increase students creativity, allow for collaboration, and in depth research on subject matters. Some examples of content material that might be useful to students in Pre K- 3rd grade include taking a personal story they wrote and creating a digital story or taking an informational topic such as the water cycle and creating a digital story. The purpose of this digital storytelling project was to allows these students the chance to publish an original piece of writing. This project allowed students the creativity to write a story of their choice and then transform it using their own drawing and text.
