Alliance for Response Pittsburgh Chapter Home

The Alliance for Response Pittsburgh initiative provides a forum for information, cooperation, and communication among emergency management organizations, first responders, and cultural heritage institutions in the greater Pittsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvania region. Our aim is to foster a cooperative approach to disaster preparedness, emergency management, and cultural heritage protection.

The Pittsburgh Alliance for Response Kick-off Forum was held June 4th, 2008 at the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh. Since that initial forum, we have held meetings each year as a loosely-organized group under the umbrella of Heritage Preservation. As of the summer of 2011, a formal committee structure was adopted in an effort to continue growing successfully. Please check out our Past Events page for more information concerning our kick-off forum.
