Textual narrative and context

The context is suggested in the Persona definition: a university transfer student from a foreign country. This scenario is intended to suggest challenges for a blind student. The international context of this scenario highlights the need for international standards. This scenario also is intended to raise some of the issues that occur in another GAAT thematic area: education.

Generic user needs

The user needs are defined below in the next sequence of time-based events: academic investigation (web / telephone); reservations (plane, public transportation); international travel; access to housing and transportation within a university environment.
