Mister E is a recurring character and the main antagonist of the Dungeons and Dragons campaign "Mysteries in Lyrewood". He is a devilish creature who purely seeks to prove that "no one lives forever.", in order to prove this, Mister E initiates a series of murders around the city as merciless and ruthless as possible.
Mister E was one of the most malicious villains and criminals in Lyrewood, having last acted fifteen years prior to the campaign. He was involved in a mishap against Police Chief Terrence Mason and ended up killing his wife and year-old daughter. Mason was left furious at Mister E and vowed that he would be imprisoned. Mister E disagreed with his belief and fled into hiding. It was most likely because of Mister E that magic was banned in Lyrewood.
Mister E does not appear in the first chapter of the campaign.
Mister E makes his first appearance in Tragedy at the Opera House, coming out of hiding and giving a call to the main heroes of the game congratulating them on their solve, before warning them that he will return and kill the chief and "finish what happened fifteen years ago" and hanging up on them.
Mister E makes his first major role in the campaign during chapter three. It is revealed that the call he made to the heroes in Chapter two was inside the Police Department. Quickly after the call, he teleported to the city clock tower and grabbed some dirt nearby before returning to the station. He then proceeds to trick the players into heading to another location in order to keep them away long enough for him to sneak in and kidnap Police Chief Mason, leaving behind the dirt to throw them off course.
Mister E restrains the unconscious chief with chains and leaves him hanging in an abandoned warehouse as bait for the heroes. When the heroes arrive, Mister E engages in battle with them, proving to be very powerful and almost unstoppable. After a while, having gotten bored, Mister E fires a green blast at Chief Mason, killing him in an instant. In a fit of laughter, Mister E disappears before the heroes can restrain him.
Later that day, Mister E calls up the heroes again and thanks them for playing the "first stage of his game", and states that there "are many more levels to come!", before hanging up.
A magical illusion of Mister E appears at the end of the fifth chapter, explaining to the heroes that he resurrected the spirit of Lady Azarni in an attempt to murder them, he just didn't expect them to "defeat her so easily". Before departing, Mister E states that "no one lives forever, you all won't be able to avoid that truth for much longer".
Mister E will later return in the eighth chapter of the campaign. A body is found by the docks and when all the evidence points to Mister E, he claims that he is innocent and he tries to get the heroes to find the real culprit.
Mister E is an evil, vengeful, wicked being who is not afraid to kill in order to achieve his goals. He truly believes that "no one lives forever.", while true, he takes it upon himself to prove to all humanity the serious truth we all must face. Mister E is very power-hungry, and through fear and intimidation easily became one of the most notorious criminals in Lyrewood. Mister E does not seem to care how anyone else feels about his actions and simply dismisses their grief.
Mister E is also shown to be a strong strategist as he was able to easily fool the heroes into leaving the chief by himself so he could kidnap him. He is also a fierce battler, able to face multiple opponents by himself with little problems.
Mister E has also shown that he has a temper and when bored he will finish his goals immediately and ruthlessly.
Despite his cruel nature, Mister E is also very honest, when he is accused of something he didn't do, he will defend himself and try to convince others of his innocence, all the while hiding any intentions that he may have in the situation.

Lust: Mister E has a lust for power and will do anything to gain power.
Wrath: Mister E has a small temper that he tries not to showcase, but when he gets bored he will angrily finish his job on the spot and refuse to toy with his enemies any longer.
